Can you repair my lock rather than replace it?

In most cases, yes. Lock & Protect always assesses whether a repair is possible before recommending replacement. A repair is almost always cheaper and we prefer it. We only recommend replacement when the lock is genuinely beyond repair.

My key snapped in the lock. Do I need a new cylinder?

Not necessarily. In most cases we extract the broken key using specialist tools without damaging the cylinder. If the cylinder is worn and contributed to the snap, we will advise on replacement — but never without explaining why.

How quickly can you attend a lock repair in London?

We aim to reach you within 30 to 45 minutes for urgent lock faults. For non-urgent planned visits we arrange a time that suits you. Call us and we confirm availability immediately.

Do you repair locks on uPVC doors as well as timber doors?
