How do I know which lock I need?

Call Lock & Protect and describe your door type. We advise on the correct lock grade for your door, your insurance requirements and your budget. We never recommend a more expensive lock than you actually need.

Do you fit anti-snap cylinders as standard?

Yes. On every new lock change we fit TS007 3-star anti-snap cylinders as standard. Lock snapping is the most common burglary method in London — an anti-snap cylinder defeats it entirely.

Can you provide confirmation of the lock grade for my insurer?

Yes. Lock & Protect provides written confirmation of the lock standard and grade fitted on every job. Most insurers require BS3621 on timber doors and TS007 3-star on uPVC doors — we supply and confirm both.

How long does a lock change take?

Most single cylinder changes take 15 to 20 minutes. A full lock change across all external doors on a standard property typically takes one to two hours. We carry all common parts on every van so most jobs are completed on the first visit.
